To celebrate the start of a busy summer season, the Mt. Washington Auto Road is inviting neighboring NH locals to enjoy a drive-yourself journey to the summit of Mt. Washington at a discounted rate. From June 17–23, 2024, if the car driver or motorcycle operator is a resident of Coös, Grafton, or Carroll County, their passengers will ride for free after the purchase of a driver and vehicle toll. This means that a safe carload of four guests, i.e. one driver and three passengers, will pay just $45 at the toll house, instead of $105! Drivers simply need to present a valid Northern NH ID at the Toll House.
