Naturalist Led Hikes in Jackson

July 2, 2019 @ 6:00 am - 8:00 am

See Details

Join Tin Mountain Conservation Center for weekly hikes at the Jackson Field Station property. Weekly themes rotate through a hike to the summit of Tin Mountain, exploration of the property’s historic tin mine, and a walk to a mountain pond and historic homestead. Tin Mountain’s naturalist will explain the historic use of the property, help identify plant species, and point out animal signs. These hikes are a great way to explore the lesser trod trails of the White Mountains and avoid the crowds. Participants of all ages a welcome.

Program fee of $5/person or $20/family; members free.

Meet at the lower parking lot at TMCC, 31 Rockwell Dr (off Tin Mine Road), in Jackson, NH.

Topic Schedule:

Tin Mine Hike: July 2, 23, Aug 13

Tin Mountain Summit Hike: July 9, 30, Aug 20

Hike to Pond: July 16, Aug 6, 27
