Backyard Astronomy Throughout the Year
This program will provides tips and techniques to find celestial objects that can be seen with the
naked eye. From the planets to the Milky Way galaxy, nebulas, star clusters and more there is a
lot to be seen with just your eyes. With help from binoculars and/or a telescope, you be able to
observe more details. Learning how to navigate your way through the night sky is the key to
understanding where to find celestial objects as well as the best time of year to find them. We’ll
Participants will receive information on how to locate and observe some fascinating celestial
wonders.

Follow-up viewing program with telescope, binoculars, and naked eye viewing lessons at Tin
Mountain Field Station on Friday August, 25 from 8:30 to 9:30 pm, w Sat. rain/cloud date.
