About Return of the Pumpkin People

Starting October 1st and continuing through October 20th the Jackson Area will be visited by dozens of Pumpkin People ready to entertain and amuse guests and local residents alike. This spectacular event promises to amaze even the toughest of critics. Take this self-guided tour and you might catch Pumpkin People riding motor cycles, flying, mowing lawns, painting, doing magic tricks or even getting married. Last year we had the Return of the Pumpkin Jedi, Pumpkin People Construction workers, Bride & Groom, Maid Service, YMCA Pumpkin Band and so much more... What ever these Pumpkin People do this year you will surely be sorry if you don't make an effort to go out and see them. You will find Pumpkin People at local inns, businesses, restaurants, attractions and even private homes.

Prizes are awarded to first and second place as well as a People’s Choice award. Judging will take place over Columbus Day Weekend awarding prizes to first and second place and People’s Choice award. The only rule is participating properties must use a real pumpkins for the head of their Pumpkin People.
