DESCRIPTION:Red Fox Bar & Grille’s Mama Red Fox caring for her little ones. \nBack 41 years ago a group of JACC chamber members brainstormed ideas of ways to capture more of the foliage leaf peepers (midweek) for our Area.  Approximately 10 to 15 member businesses created displays.  The chamber office did marketing/advertising for event and created black & white maps put together and printed in the office.  The map was all on one 8 1/2 by 11 sheet of paper.  41 years later we have our full color 20\,000 pieces printed professionally and it highlights more than 60 participating properties.  Year after year this event brings thousands of visitors to see just what these Pumpkin People are up too! \n \nSnow Flake Inn first place (12 Days of Christmas) three French Hens \n \nMaids a milking… you just never know what they will be doing.  What ever they are doing you will not want to miss your chance to see it first hand. \nMaps and Guides will be available for the 2025 showing (which starts on October 1st and runs through October 31st) will be available by September 15th\, 2025.  You will be able to print one from our website and will find a link right here by that time. \nPlan a day of it\, have breakfast\, lunch and dinner in our area while visiting with the Pumpkin People in the interim of fine or casual dining.  Here’s an idea:  learn all you can about the Return of the Pumpkin People while having a time of your life at our Annual Return of the Pumpkin People Kick Off Dinner Bash at the Eagle Mountain House Carriage House on Sunday September 21st.  You can purchase your tickets now by calling 978-580-0905 or by visiting our tickets and gifts shop on this website. \n  \n

SUMMARY:Pumpkin Carving Competition
DESCRIPTION:Join us for the Annual Pumpkin Carving Competition where teams from all over New England including MA\, ME\, CT and VT as well as NH compete to be boast winner of the Jackson Pumpkin Carving Competition.  You can meet the carvers and get some expert advice on how to carve and create incredible pieces for everyone to marvel at… \nCarving starts on Friday at Noon.  The carvers will continue through Friday October 17th and start up again on Saturday October 18th morning until tools down at 5 PM.  Pumpkins will be lit up through Saturday evening.  Winners of the competition will be announced on Sunday October 20th at Noon.  After winners are announced you will be able to purchase your favorite carved pumpkins and take them home with you.  Pumpkin are sold by donations but we ask that you make a donation of at least $20 each pumpkin.  All monies helps to cover the cost to run the event… pumpkins are getting very expense and we provide each team with at least 8 pumpkins. \nDon’t forget to check out the all new Trail of Terror by Nestlenook Farm… tickets sold separately by Nestlenook or call 603-383-7101 and or our All Things Pumpkin Sleigh Rides through Jackson Village leaving from Nestlenook on the Saturdays in October $40 PP.
