DESCRIPTION:Starting on September 1st there will be GOLDEN pumpkins marked with our Jackson mascot in specially selected Return of the Pumpkin People host properties.  If you happen upon one be sure to take your photo with it\, send it to 978-580-0905 or email a jpeg to kathleen@jacksonnh.com.  Include a release giving us permission to use the photo\, your return email address and phone number and you will be entered into a very special Jackson Area Vacation package valued at more than $500.  Vacation Package includes but not limited to Over night stays\, dining certificates\, a very special and unique one of a kind Jingle Bell Chocolate Tour experience that you can only find out how special it is when you board your sleigh. \nPlease note:  Return of the Pumpkin People Displays will not be out until October 1st but the 2024 Maps & Guides are already and can be found at many participating properties as well as the Jackson Area Chamber of Commerce office.  You can use these as a guide to where the GOLDEN pumpkins maybe!  The hunt for the GOLDEN Pumpkins begins on September 1st and will continue throughout September and October ending on October 31st.  The winner of the drawing will be announced at Noon on October 31st with the “Where’s Jackson” winner as well.

DESCRIPTION:Jackson will celebrate with an impressive fireworks display during Labor Day Weekend … Sunday\, September 1\, 2024!\nJoin us as we light up the sky in September with a spectacular fireworks display!\nThe Fireworks will be set off from Jackson Village Park\, closed from Noon until the Fireworks. Viewing is typically available throughout the Jackson Village area. We recommend that you come early to get a good spot. \nIce cream\, popcorn\, glow necklaces\, balloons\, and other fun stuff will be available from local and visiting vendors. This spectacular display is sponsored by our Jackson Town Selectmen\, the Inn at Whitney’s Farm\, the Snowflake Inn\, and residents such as the Karlsson Family\, as well as other local businesses and residents. \nFor more information on how to donate to this event or for any other inquiries\, please feel free to contact the Jackson Area Chamber of Commerce at (978) 580-0905 or like our Facebook page. \nParking \nParking options are limited and we urge all visitors and locals alike to note the NO Parking notices and refrain from blocking open businesses and or emergency exits.  Parking is available in the old tennis courts which can be found by taking the driveway immediately after Dinsmore Road on your right if coming over the Jackson Covered Bridge.  Please be advised that many of our Jackson Businesses are open for business and Village parking will be very limited. \nThe Snowflake Inn welcomes visitors and locals to sit on its southside lawn. SUMMARY:September 11 Commemorative Walk
DESCRIPTION:Jackson\, New Hampshire will once again join a nationwide program launched by the Department of Defense for a commemorative walk for our victims\, survivors and their families of September 11\, 2001 as well as a show of support to our military men and women who serve this great nation and our Police\, Fire & Rescue Personnel. The Jackson New Hampshire walk will be held on Wednesday\, September 11th at 8:00 AM. The walk will begin at the Jackson Covered Bridge located at the intersection of route 16 and 16A in Jackson\, New Hampshire promptly at 8:30 AM. \nParticipants should meet at 8:00 AM and be ready to complete a 1.1 mile walk around the Jackson\, New Hampshire loop. Immediately following: the Pledge of Allegiance to our Flag\, a few non-political remarks and a moment of silence the walk will begin promptly at 8 AM. This walk is a silent walk as a united people proudly saluting our heroes and remembering all who lost their lives on September 11\, 2001. Following the walk J-Town Deli & Country Store has invited all Military\, Police\, Fire & Rescue for a light breakfast as a way of support for your services to all of us. Family & Friends are welcome at regular cost.
