SUMMARY:Kenya Medical Relief Mission Share Experiences
DESCRIPTION:On Thursday\, April 20\, at 7 pm\, at the Jackson Public Library\, Dr. Lauren\nFrye and several other members of Memorial Hospital’s medical team who\nvisited Kenya in December will share their experiences. This trip was the\nfourth for Dr. Frye\, but the first in which she was the lead. The team of 25\nincluded 13 Memorial Hospital providers and staff. They spent 10 days at a\nclinic in Migori\, Kenya providing a variety of care\, primarily focused on\nwomen’s health and pediatrics\, from physical examinations and surgeries\nto follow-up visits for care begun by previous medical teams. The Migori\nclinic is sponsored by the group KenyaRelief.org. This program is\nsponsored by the Friends of Jackson Public Library and is open to the\npublic at no charge.
