SUMMARY:September 11 Memorial Walk
DESCRIPTION:Gather at the Jackson Covered Bridge at 8:15 AM then as a united group we will walk the Jackson Village Loop for a total of 1.1 Miles.  \nThis walk is to honor all those who lost their fight against Freedom on September 11\, 2001\, as well as honoring all our Military\, Police\, Fire & Rescue personnel who keep us safe daily!  Registration is appreciated.  This walk is done in silence honoring all and The 2022 walk means that 21 years has passed since the United States of America endured the most devastating attack on our homeland.  We must never forget what happened to our democracy that day and we must always put political feelings aside and remember we are a united American WE the PEOPLE!  Please join us on Sunday\, September 11\, 2022 and walk as a united people.  There will be a few words shared from our local Pentagon Retiree Andy Friedrich… and a few other invited guests and all words will remain NON POLITICAL.  Our walk will be lead by our Chief of Police Chris Perley and our Fire Chief Jay Henry.  Our community of Jackson has now been doing this walk for 18 years at the request of the Pentagon so long ago when they created the “America Supports YOU – Freedom Walk”. \nImmediately following the walk all Military\, Police\, Fire & Rescue Personnel are invited back to J-Town Deli & Country Store for Coffee and light breakfast.  Vouchers will be handed out at the walk.  All family and friends are invited at their cost. \nWe must never forget! \nCall the office at 978-580-0905 for more details.
