DESCRIPTION:Art Camp for Kids – Session 2 (5 Days Outdoors)\nART CAMP FOR KIDS- SESSION #2 With Melanie Levitt & Assistants \nThis camp is for the kid who loves art and wants to create for FIVE DAYS OUTDOORS UNDER OUR ART TENT! Students will leave with more artwork in one week than they do an entire year at school! Students will work on numerous projects each day and be exposed to a variety of materials and techniques. NO PAPER PLATE ART!  Space is limited  for individual attention and only high quality art materials are used.  (we have changed some of our projects to allow for outdoor format) Some projects may include: mosaic stepping stones\, acrylic animal paintings\, silhouette self portraits\, clay leaf impressions\, colorful abstract art\, ladybug mandala rock painting\, geometric foam prints\, color mixing studies\, Matisse colorful collage\, Jackson Pollock splatter art\, glue resist insect studies\, nature drawing\, games. art history & more! \nPlease pack a snack\, lunch and a drink each day along with white t-shirt for our Jackson Pollock splatter painting art!  We will have more info regarding camp guidelines upon registration. \nDATES: August 3-7  (5 days) \nAGES: 8-14 YRS (we will be splitting younger & older students into two groups) \nTIME: 9am-2pm \nPRICE: $475 per/week (kids will create 15 art projects!)

SUMMARY:Mixed Media Collage with Rebecca Klementovich
DESCRIPTION:This class will take place outdoors under our art tent to allow for social distancing. A mask will be required for all participants. \nIn this fun and creative collage class\, students will explore color and texture through many different mediums! We will provide a selection of solid and printed papers for you to experiment with in addition to using your own markers\, crayons\, pastels\, charcoal\, colored pencils and acrylic paint. Predominantly we will be painting an abstract acrylic painting as a base and from there we will add papers and other mediums. You will learn how to use harmonious colors to create visually exciting contemporary mixed media art. Students will create a series of up to four\, 16×20” collaged pieces. Please bring any inspirational sketches\,  photographs or images printed on letter size paper that you would like to use. Students will be required to bring the bulk of their own supplies. (see list below) We will provide modge podge.
