Still Life Drawing with Ian Torney, August 10th

March 28 @ 12:42 pm

till Life Drawing with Ian Torney

Anyone can draw! Drawing is elemental. If you are a beginner and want to begin to learn how, or an already accomplished artist seeking to refine your skills and learn new methods and perspectives, this workshop is for you. We will begin with introductory warm-up exercises in true seeing, exploring contour line, then apply those skills to drawing with value and tone, to develop visual literacy through observational drawing methods. Workshop participants will complete a finished still-life drawing by the end of the session; see former-student examples. Participants are encouraged to develop their drawing skills in conjunction with the other two summer drawing sessions offered – INTRODUCTION TO DRAWING o and PORTRAIT DRAWING.Open to high school or college age students and adults of any artistic ability. Saturday August 10, 10am to 1pm, $55,  all materials included
